Transport and Parking
Public transport in our country area is very limited and we strongly advise guests to have their own transport in order to be able to fully enjoy all the possible days out from here. We have plenty of off-road parking.
Access to London is an easy 45 minute train journey from East Grinstead and Gatwick Airport is about a twenty minute car ride away.
We have a large friendly Labrador called Bear who is always pleased to welcome other well behaved dogs, though only by prior arrangement please. We do require that visiting dogs must not be left alone in the property or allowed on furniture. There is immediate access to footpaths and open fields for exercising. The garden is enclosed and dog proof.
There is a small additional charge for dogs.
Two small village shops are within two miles of Saxons and there are three supermarkets in the nearby town of East Grinstead, five miles away.
There are a number of pubs serving good food in the surrounding villages catering for homely cuisine to fine dining.
